We believe that being trauma-informed is an essential part of being a skilled educator. Below you will find a variety of resources to guide your own learning on this critical subject. We encourage you to study, share, and consider ways to create healing-centered cultures within your school or district.

Join Karen Beaman and Jennifer Dollar, from Columbia College's Masters in Trauma-Informed Education Program, and Todd Scholl (Lead Learner, CEWL), for a one-day workshop exploring trauma-informed practices. The workshop will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 10AM-3PM at The SCEA Headquarters in Columbia, SC. Certificates will be issued. Lunch will be provided. The workshop is free for members of The SCEA and $40 for non-members. Contact Todd Scholl with any questions.
